Linda Cadloff Richman, P.DT., CDE
Linda Cadloff Richman is a Registered Dietitian and a Certified Diabetes Educator. She graduated from McGill University with degrees in Physical Education as well as Nursing Science before going on to pursue a degree in Dietetics and Human Nutrition from McGill in 1991.
Linda’s experience working in Exercise Cardiac Rehabilitation programs, as well as teaching in fitness and exercise and working as a personal fitness trainer have prepared her well to understand, encourage and support people who seek personal health changes. Positive change is the result of an individual being ready to take on change. From there, we can discuss and identify both activity and food choices along with other social supports in our communities of family and friends that can help us to achieve our goals of ultimately feeling better for ourselves and encouraged to continue along the journey towards better health.
In 2003, after one of her family members was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes, Linda actively pursued specialty training in the area of diabetes education and went on to became a Certified Diabetes Educator in 2010.Although working with diabetics of all ages and backgrounds will always be her passion, she is very experienced in helping patients to manage a wide spectrum of challenges, which include the areas of weight management, cardiovascular health, pre and post-natal counselling, gastrointestinal concerns, as well as sports medicine issues.
Aside from practicing as a dietitian, Linda competed for McGill on the Synchronized Swim Team. She is a Canadian Alpine Ski Instructor, as well as an active Divemaster and enjoys tennis and running.
Normand Lapointe, Inhalotherapist
Normand Lapointe, a Respiratory Therapist for more than 30 years, has worked in various hospitals and departments, including L’Hôpital de Chicoutimi, McGill University Center, Santa-Cabrini Hospital and the Center Hospitalier Université de Montréal. He also served as an anesthesia research coordinator for 3.5 years at the Montreal Neurological Institute.
As a trainer, his new passion for sleeping respiratory disorders and the impact on health took him to Europe where he enriched his expertise.
