Cardiac Stress Test
A cardiac stress test is a test used in medicine and cardiology to measure the heart’s ability to respond to external stress in a controlled clinical environment. The stress response is induced by exercise. At REMD, we perform a cardiac exercise stress test (EST) in the comfort of our private clinic Monday to Friday by appointment only. The test is supervised by an Emergency doctor and results are read by Cardiologist.
REMD can perform an Electrocardiogram in the comfort of our clinic. We offer cardiology testing, Electrocardiogram at rest and even a Cardiac Stress test.
Electrocardiography (ECG or EKG*) is the process of recording the electrical activity of the heart over a period of time. We place electrodes placed on the skin to detect the tiny electrical changes that arise from the heart muscle’s action during each heartbeat. It is a very commonly performed cardiology test.
Appointments with consultants (exercise stress test, vasectomy and women’s health) requires a deposit by credit card. In case of cancellation less than 24 hours, the amount will be charged without reimbursement.
